The Adventures of Crumple and Tear in "Smoking is Bad for the Whole School."

Sunday morning Carissa and Jake were reading their new books about the adventures of Crumple and Tear when there was a knock at the door.

It was Anthony and Nicole, Carissa and Jake's best friends. "Can you come out to play?" asked the two friends. The brother and sister left quickly with their books wide open.

Crumple and Tear popped out from the book and Tear turned into a paper plane while Crumple rolled to the edge of the bed. Tear said, "I'm going to have a look at tomorrow's newspaper headlines."

Crumple said "let's roll", so they flew and rolled into the kitchen and on the table they found today's newspaper. Tear transformed into the newspaper which enabled him to view tomorrow's headlines.

Monday, the next day, while Carissa is at school reading her Crumple and Tear book the recess bell rang at 10:00 am. Crumple and Tear knew they had little time to save the day.

So the two hereos pop out of the book and Tear flew to the school office and faxed himself to the fire department. Quickly, Tear transformed into a letter on the fire chief's desk reading "Hurry, explosion at the school at 11:00 am!"

Meanwhile Crumple rolled himself to the utility room and turned himself into a no smoking sign in hopes that the janitor would abide by the clearly visible rule.

The fire chief rushed to the elementary school to investigate and smells gas leaking from the utility room. As soon as the fire chief enters the utility room he sees the janitor starting to flick his lighter and yells "stop!".

Meanwhile Jacob, Carissa's younger brother, is walking down the hallway and notices two pieces of paper, one rolling, and one flying into his sister's classroom. Jacob quickly runs into his sister's classroom but only to find it empty and scratches his head.

This conlcudes another day saved by our heroes Crumble and Tear.
